Eveready @ 110: Isang Laging Handang Pilipinas

Eveready has provided light to the world for 110 years now. Eveready Phils. celebrated this feat last month alongside Philippine Independence Day in SM Mall of Asia.

With the theme "Isang Laging Handang Pilipinas," the celebration highlighted a Flashlight Exhibition Intro by performing dancers, cheerleaders, and bands. There was also a display of marching cadets.

It was capped with the a Philippine Flag & Eveready Nation Logo formation towards the end of the presentation. This all occurred at the same time as the weekend fireworks of SM Mall of Asia.

A symbolic turnover of product donations was held After the grand performance. This was followed by the Eveready Nation Campaign speech by Mr. Esteban Vorbeck, President and Managing Director of Eveready Philippines.

 

Eveready also endorsed the "Isang Laging Handang Pilipinas" (One Ready Nation) campaign which focuses on the country's preparedness in times of disasters and calamities. It also encourages the industry to switch to LED flashlights from the traditional ordinary flashlight. LED flashlights are tougher and lasts longer.

Also present in the event are other Eveready officials including Ms.Fritzie Lee, Junior Product Manager for Eveready (Phils.) Lights, Specialty & CARS division.

Finally, the night was capped of with a guest band performance from Sugarfree.

Congratulations to Eveready for their 110 years of giving light to the nation when we most need them.
